The Fallow Deer | Desk Mat | The Countryside Collection

A summer afternoon in the shade of an old oak. A herd of fallow deer rests in dappled light beneath a broad trunk, while one dark doe stands and watches.

Fallow deer coats range from pale and spotted to almost black, and you can see that variety across the herd. They were brought to Britain nearly a thousand years ago and are now part of the countryside's character.

Calm and full of life, this design is for anyone who loves British wildlife, and the oak on the right sits where your mouse will rest, keeping the herd in view.
