Each session is set outdoors, in a carefully chosen natural location. We move at a relaxed pace - allowing space for presence, stillness and moments that unfold on their own.

You don't need to know how to pose. You don't need to arrive with a plan. Most people are surprised by how quickly they settle into the experience.

I've never had professional photos taken before. Will I know what to do?
Most people feel this way before they arrive, and it's completely understandable. There are no rigid poses or instructions to follow. The session is designed to move at a pace that feels natural to you - many people are surprised by how quickly they settle in. You don't need to do anything except show up as you are.
What should I wear?
The Muse Session is built around drama and contrast: ball gowns, black-tie, wedding-guest dresses, and occasion wear in unexpected natural settings. The more extraordinary the outfit, the more extraordinary the image.

Think sequins on grass, ballgowns by the water, formal dress in the undergrowth. Outfit changes are available as a paid add-on — if you'd like to bring a second look, simply add it when booking.

Once your session is confirmed, you'll receive a simple style guide to help you feel completely at ease and beautifully prepared on the day.

What if the weather is bad?
British weather is part of the texture of British nature. Overcast light is actually ideal for this kind of photography - soft, even, and full of mood. If conditions are genuinely unsuitable, we'll rearrange. You'll always have the option to discuss timing and location before your session.
How long until I receive my images?
Your edited images will be delivered to your private online gallery within 3 weeks of your session. If you have a specific deadline - a gift, an event, or a personal occasion - just mention it when booking and every effort will be made to accommodate you.
Is this right for couples and small groups?
Yes - the session is open to individuals, couples, or small groups. The experience is designed to feel relaxed and unhurried, regardless of who you bring. The pace simply adjusts to the energy of the group.
Can I purchase additional images or prints afterwards?
Yes. Additional images are available as an add-on at the time of booking (15 images for £100). After your session, you'll also have the option to purchase fine art prints, including framed prints from the Ancestor's Muse collection, and a beautifully printed photo book at 20% off, exclusively for Muse Session clients.
