The Blue Morpho | Tempered Glass Serving Board | The Wing Collection
£29.99
A flash of sapphire, folded away. We photographed the Blue Morpho at rest, showing the bronze underside and its row of golden eyespots, with a single glimpse of the brilliant blue it is famous for. That blue is created by the structure of the wing scales rather than pigment, which is why it seems to shift as the light moves.
Set against a deep, dark background, this is the most dramatic board in the collection and suits a kitchen with darker worktops or wood. A considered gift for someone who appreciates mystery and depth, and a natural choice for an anniversary.
The details
Tempered glass, strong and heat-resistant, with a lightly textured surface that is hygienic and easy to wipe clean. Rubber feet on each corner hold the board steady on the worktop and protect your surfaces.
Use it as a serving board for cheese, charcuterie and bread, as a prep surface, or display it as artwork in the kitchen.
